Sign-up information

Sign up begins at 7:00 p.m. with co-host Denise McGowan. Denise and co-host Beckie Menzie will determine the order of appearances as the evening progresses. Please let use know if you have a time issue and we'll do our best to work with you. We will try to accomodate everyone but a spot on the bill is not guaranteed.

Sheet music

Please bring sheet music or a chord chart in your key. If you do not have this, we simply cannot guarantee you will be able to perform.

Your songs

Be prepared with a song or two in the event that another singer has chosen the same song as you. Also, be prepared with both an upbeat number and a ballad so that we can mix things up a bit. If several people ahead of you have sung ballads, you may want to sing something upbeat. Choose material that is suitable for your vocal range and also for the sophisticated, yet fun, surroundings of Petterino's. Remember, there are children in the house for some performances.

Accompanist

You will be accompanied by Beckie Menzi (or her substitute) unless you choose to bring your own accompanist or accompany yourself on piano or guitar. Be prepared to amplify the guitar with a microphone as we are not able to plug into our house system.

Things move very quickly

Please be prepared to get to the stage when your introduction begins and work out your music with Beckie as quickly as possible. Feel free to chat a bit with the audience, Beckie and Denise but nothing too lengthy.

We encourage you tell people about your upcoming appearances, CD releases and other information to encourage them to support your career.
